History of Cricket Indonesia

Cricket - is a game that has long been known to the world community, particularly the countries that adopted the historical background of the English culture and traditions, such as India, Pakistan, Australia, and so on. Basic essence of this sport is the passion and harmony between healthy competition and teamwork is solid and compact.

Sports are almost similar to baseball, there have been in Indonesia since the 1880s. Indonesia including a group of countries called East-Asia Pacific (EAP). EAP is part of the ICC. In the same year, Indonesia is recognized as a state affiliate although new to cricket.


At this time, cricket in Indonesia has entered the stage of socialization. Development at junior level cricket team has accomplished in various regions in Indonesia.
